K. Flay is bringing two back-to-back nights to Seattle's Madame Lou's on March 24th and 25th in celebration of her latest full-length studio album, MONO. The multi-platinum, 2x Grammy-nominated artist will perform in sold-out small venues to connect with her fans in seven major cities across the U.S. throughout March.
The Mono: Live in Stereo tour kicked off in Los Angeles on March 6th and offers fans a unique experience. Each show features a distinctive setlist that highlights the personal and raw essence of her latest studio album. The intimate venues allow her to interact and connect with the audience, amplifying the musical impact. Fans across the country will have the opportunity to experience K. Flay's artistry up close.
MONO marks K. Flay's fifth full-length album, a 14-song project reveals profound truths about the pain loss causes and the power transformation holds while delving deep into her psyche. K. Flay attributes a significant sensory shift to the sparking of a fresh perspective during the writing and recording process which set her back into a beginner’s mindset.
K. Flay began work on MONO with full hearing, but completed the album with hearing in only one ear. This is her first full-length project since she lost the hearing in her right ear at the end of August 2022. MONO encapsulates key narratives from her life, such as her queer identity, battles with alcohol, the passing of her biological father, the experience of sudden deafness, and her journey through the music industry.
Whether she's diving into self-reflection with powerful production on tracks like "Punisher," teaming up with artists like Pierce the Veil’s Vic Fuentes on “Irish Goodbye,” or tenderly exploring the themes of a toxic past relationship in "Hustler," K. Flay's authenticity shines through and makes MONO an irresistible listen.
K. Flay promises to be an unforgettable and emotionally charged experience at Madame Lou's in Seattle. Through her unique blend of raw lyrics and powerful production, she invites fans to connect deeply with her personal stories. The intimate setting allows fans to be up close and personal witnesses to her artistry, her growth, and her commitment to pushing the boundaries of music.
