On April 26, 2024, Our Last Night brought the Covers Only tour to Showbox SoDo in Seattle. This highly anticipated tour featured openers Broadside and Normandie. Most shows were either sold out or had low ticket warnings. The band delivered an immersive and unique experience to the audience.

Swedish alt-rock band Normandie kicked off the evening with several tracks from their latest album, Dopamine. This album delves into the effects of overconsumption on our lives, inspired by the band's personal experiences with growing stress and exhaustion and their tendency to turn to consumption for relief.

Broadside's latest release, their fourth full-length album Hotel Bleu, did not disappoint live. Their set, with a good balance of new songs and their most popular hits, kept the crowd singing and dancing along. The lead singer, Ollie Baxxter, is a natural on stage. He cracks jokes and uses the entirety of the stage to move around; he hardly stands still.

Broadside is no stranger to Seattle, and their friendship with the local band The Home Team is well-known. Fans were thrilled when The Home Team’s Brian Butcher joined them to sing “Cruel.” Butcher, who is featured on the album’s track, has Broadside fans anticipating their feature on The Home Team’s new album, scheduled for release in July 2024. They even dedicated their song “The Raging Sea” to the members of The Home Team and Broadside.

Our Last Night has been rocking for 20 years now. Until 2013, they were attached to a record label, which they described as a miserable experience. After leaving, they decided to focus on covers. Their unique alternative-metal covers of songs from various genres have gained significant attention on TikTok. Tracks such as Zach Bryan's "Something in the Orange" and Benson Boone's "Beautiful Things" have both accumulated over 2 million views and millions of Spotify streams.

During their set, they asked if anyone in the audience was a Swiftie before bringing up a Taylor Swift fan and quizzing her on trivia. This was a hilarious and wonderful transition into their three-song medley featuring the songs "Blank Space," "Anti-Hero," and "Look What You Made Me Do." They also performed their classic Disney medley, which was something that most fans could sing along to.

One highlight of the evening was when they played “Skyfall” by Adele, which was the very first cover the band put out. Our Last Night ended the night with their most popular encore song “Iris” by The Goo Goo Dolls. The three bands gave this show their all and left everything they had on that stage.
